Simran, a spirited young woman, faces the sting of rejection from her crush. In the aftermath, she embarks on a humorous yet poignant journey of self-discovery, sparked by a seemingly small but transformative decision: to have her upper lip hair threaded for the first time. Originally filmed and made in the year 2019, Upperlips is a lighthearted exploration of beauty standards, self-esteem, and the lengths we go to for acceptance, blending comedy with a heartfelt narrative about embracing change.
